Funded Activity Summary

Australian Comprehensive Security Research Network (ACSRN): analysing, anticipating and integrating national responses to multiple security threats. This network brings together a unique, broad-based combination of researchers and professionals and aims to facilitate research programs that will enhance the security and safety of Australia. The network will improve awareness, integration and coordination of existing national (and international) resources for the development of new protective policies, capabilities and procedures. The significance will be a more protected Australia achieved through: (a) development of a security ?network-of-networks? (b) identification and coordination of innovative research programs; (c) advances in knowledge of and solutions to new and existing threats; and (d) development of novel, integrated and synergistic threat management options for government.
