Abstract: During the first quarter of 2020, COVID-19 spread worldwide, claiming lives of thousands of people every day. This marked the beginning of all emergency and business continuity plans around the world. This study attempts to study people’s awareness of CSR practices among business firms in Dubai and investigate people’s evaluation of these CSR practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study employs a quantitative research method and mainly uses questionnaires for data collection. 199 respondents are selected from different business firms in Dubai. Expert interviews are also conducted for triangulation purposes. It involves the Dubai community with various backgrounds and status. This study shows that a large scheme of the Dubai community has a decent level of expertise in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. It also shows that firms that have implemented CSR before the crisis will mostly be better suited to play a supportive role for government and society during the crisis. Abstract: To acquire a significant footing in today’s competitive airport environments, enhancing airport service performance for passengers is essential. This study aims to investigate the relationship between queuing time, prime services, security screening, and service performance at Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A quantitative methodology was employed. The s le size for the PLS-SEM analysis and the passengers’ airport service performance was determined to be 230 respondents. The results revealed a significant relationship between queuing time, prime services, security screening, and airport service performance. The findings also demonstrated a significant positive relationship between queuing time and airport service performance (β = 0.193, t = 3.564, p ≤ 0.000), a significant positive relationship between prime services and airport service performance (β = 0.478, t = 9.225, p ≤ 0.000), and a significant positive relationship between security screening and airport service performance (β= 0.227, t = 4.196, p ≤ 0.000). The outcomes are anticipated to support Abu Dhabi International Airport management in making efficient processes to augment airport service accomplishment for passengers from UAE and different countries.

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to identify the moderating role of economic factors of foreign investor over the relationship between economic factors and environmental degradation in Dubai which is among the fastest-growing economies and is attracting foreign direct investments (FDI) at the best. In order to meet the objectives of the study two hypotheses were developed. The first hypothesis deals with the direct effect of economic dimensions of foreign direct investment (Alkathiri, 2022), whereas, the second hypothesis deals with the moderating impact of foreign investor characteristics over the relationship between economic dimensions of foreign direct investment and environmental degradation. Both hypotheses have been checked over the primary data collected from the executives of multinational companies operating in Dubai. The findings of the study revealed that economic dimensions of foreign direct investment have a significant impact on environmental degradation. Likewise, foreign investor characteristics hold a significant moderating role in the significant relationship between economic factors of foreign direct investment and environmental degradation (Khan & Agha, 2015). The study showed some limitations and opened the horizons for future research.

Abstract: Abstract Using data for 55 developing and developed countries, this research examines the roles of technology transfer, research intensity, educational attainment, and the ability to absorb foreign technology in explaining cross‐country differences in productivity growth. The results show that innovation is an important factor for growth in OECD countries, whereas growth in developing countries is driven by imitation. Furthermore, the interaction between educational attainment and the distance to the frontier is a significant determinant of growth in the overall s le.

Abstract: The private sector is assisting in sustainable development because of the enormous development and rise in commercial and industrial revolutions. However, corporate social responsibility is declining despite this development for several reasons. Among others, they include a lack of belief on the part of owners or boards of directors in the sustainability idea and the prohibitively expensive nature of some technologies. This study aims to examine how community members’ awareness relates to the amount of commitment of businesses in Dubai. In order to investigate the association between two variables, this study used a mixed methods approach that included both interviews and a general questionnaire with several questions. A s le of 314 members of the Dubai community was selected via an electronic platform to collect the data. Descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and pertinent correlations were used to process the data. The findings of this study were encouraging regarding the strength of the link between a person’s social consciousness and their level of commitment to businesses and organizations operating in the exact United Arab Emirates community. Further studies can investigate additional influential factors. The conclusions of this paper may serve as valuable tools for pressuring businesses to increase their effectiveness and efficiency to forge a genuine societal commitment to sustainability. Abstract: The current COVID-19 pandemic has caused people all over the world to consider how each nation has responded to the outbreak. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have had a significant impact on the global political economy. It has been stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the characteristics and environments of in iduals across the planet (Lomperis, 2020). The aim of this paper is to focus on and analyse the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic into three different theoretical perspectives on international political economy which are liberalism, structuralism, and mercantilism. This study employed qualitative research for the renowned three theories in international political economy. Data for this study came from already-published works on the political economy of the world. The methodology substantially drew from the body of prior research on the topic at hand. This research showed the correlation between the political and economic aspects of international political economy with the current situation. The theoretical framework and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world political economy have been discussed in this paper. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is more towards the economic sectors rather than politics. However, all leaders should be prepared to have a contingency plan to avoid their country’s getting worst.
