Abstract: There have been many literature focusing on Knowledge Management (KM) contribution to the business world, and there is still a lacuna of empirical studies related to KM and Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. This paper examines the effects of KM and HRM practices relating to the organizational performance and employee’s job satisfaction level. A theoretical model is proposed to identify significant relationships and to develop some hypothesis. These hypotheses are then tested with a structural equation modeling using a randomly selected survey data set of 150 respondents, where variables in the questionnaire have been considered from previous empirical studies. Results demonstrate significant positive effects of KM and HRM practices to the organizational performance. Finding also reveals that employee’s loyalty to the organization depends on employee’s job satisfaction which is highly influenced by the organizational performance. Although the s le is limited to a Bangladeshi organization, the new model can be employed to datasets from other developing countries.

Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) enabled technologies to have proliferated due to their abilities to capture and exchange quality information. This empirical study aims to investigate the factors influencing the intention to use IoT services in healthcare by young physicians. An integrated model based on the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) and diffusion of innovations (DOI) theories are drawn upon and analyzed through a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with importance-performance map analysis (IPMA). Data were collected through a structured survey questionnaire. The results indicated that behavioural intention to use IoT in healthcare services vastly affected by the attitude and value co-creation. Attitude was found to be a principal determinant followed by the relative advantage towards behavioural intention to use IoT services. The novelty of this empirical study is that the proposed integrated model provides a meaningful application of the young physicians’ intention to use IoT in healthcare in developing countries.

Abstract: Healthcare analytics has been a rapidly emerging research domain in recent years. In general, healthcare solution design studies focus on developing analytic solutions that enhance product, process and practice values for clinical and non-clinical decision support. The objective of this study is to explore the scope of healthcare analytics research and in particular its utilisation of design and development methodologies. Using six prominent electronic databases, qualifying articles between 2010 and mid-2018 were sourced and categorised. A total of 52 articles on healthcare analytics solutions were selected for relevant content on public healthcare. The research team scrutinised the articles, using established content analysis protocols. Analysis identified that various methodologies have been used for developing analytics solutions, such as prototyping, traditional software engineering, agile approaches and others, but despite its clear advantages, few show the use of design science. Key topic areas are also identified throughout the content analysis suggesting topical research priorities in the field.
