Abstract: Drawing on the conservation of resources theory, this study aims to apply a mixed-method to enrich the literature by investigating interrelationships among training, environmental triggers (environmental knowledge, awareness and concern) and employees' intention to carry out environmental activities. This research applied a mixed-method carried out in Vietnam. By using the time-lagged data, Study 1 (quantitative research) was employed to test hypotheses. With Study 2 (qualitative research), four in-depth interviews were conducted to gain insight into a few unexpected findings from Study 1. Study 1 indicates that environmental training is critical to directly boost not only the three environmental triggers but also employees' intention to engage in environmental activities. The findings further point out that environmental concern and awareness mediate the relationship between environmental training and employees' intention to engage in environmental activities. Unexpectedly, connections from environmental concern and awareness to employees' intentions were not moderated by environmental knowledge. The findings of Study 2 shed light on the role of environmental knowledge. Based on the conservation of resources and social exchange theories, the research contributes to the existing literature by providing a better understanding of how environmental training stimulates employees' intention to implement environmental activities. The findings may be helpful for managers to encourage employees to contribute to organizations' green objectives.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the determinants of career satisfaction of professional accounting returnees who have studied and/or worked abroad and then returned to work in different types of international workplaces in their home country. A survey of professional accounting returnees in Vietnam was undertaken and multiple regression analysis was applied to test the proposed relationships. This study finds that career satisfaction is affected by career fit, career sacrifice, types of international workplaces (domestically headquartered firms versus globally headquartered firms) and cross-cultural work readjustment. Further, cross-cultural work readjustment partially mediates the effect of career fit and career sacrifice on career satisfaction. The research provides the basis for designing career-related employee experiences to support career satisfaction of professional accounting returnees. This study integrates dimensions of career embeddedness with cross-cultural work readjustment and employee experiences, which are normally studied separately, in different types of international workplaces. It contributes to the limited research on contributors to well-being in the form of career satisfaction among professional returnees in an emerging economy.

Abstract: Mass vaccination c aigns have significantly reduced the COVID-19 burden. However, vaccine hesitancy has posed significant global concerns. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics that influence perceptions of COVID-19 vaccine efficacy, acceptability, hesitancy and decision making to take vaccine among general adult populations in a variety of socioeconomic and cultural contexts. Using a snowball s ling approach, we conducted an online cross-sectional study in 20 countries across four continents from February to May 2021. A total of 10,477 participants were included in the analyses with a mean age of 36±14.3 years. The findings revealed the prevalence of perceptions towards COVID-19 vaccine’s effectiveness (78.8%), acceptance (81.8%), hesitancy (47.2%), and drivers of vaccination decision-making (convenience [73.3%], health providers’ advice [81.8%], and costs [57.0%]). The county-wise distribution included effectiveness (67.8–95.9% 67.8% in Egypt to 95.9% in Malaysia), acceptance (64.7–96.0% 64.7% in Australia to 96.0% in Malaysia), hesitancy (31.5–86.0% 31.5% in Egypt to 86.0% in Vietnam), convenience (49.7–95.7% 49.7% in Austria to 95.7% in Malaysia), advice (66.1–97.3% 66.1% in Austria to 97.3% in Malaysia), and costs (16.0–91.3% 16.0% in Vietnam to 91.3% in Malaysia). In multivariable regression analysis, several socio-demographic characteristics were identified as associated factors of outcome variables including, i) vaccine effectiveness: younger age, male, urban residence, higher education, and higher income ii) acceptance: younger age, male, urban residence, higher education, married, and higher income and iii) hesitancy: male, higher education, employed, unmarried, and lower income. Likewise, the factors associated with vaccination decision-making including i) convenience: younger age, urban residence, higher education, married, and lower income ii) advice: younger age, urban residence, higher education, unemployed/student, married, and medium income and iii) costs: younger age, higher education, unemployed/student, and lower income. Most participants believed that vaccination would effectively control and prevent COVID-19, and they would take vaccinations upon availability. Determinant factors found in this study are critical and should be considered as essential elements in developing COVID-19 vaccination c aigns to boost vaccination uptake in the populations.

Abstract: Drawing on social exchange theory, this study develops a research framework that highlights the moderating role of empowering leadership and the link between digital‐oriented training programs and employee outcomes in the context of remote work. We conducted a study utilizing the time‐lagged research design. Data were collected from 259 supervisor–employee dyads working in companies located in different regions in Vietnam. The results demonstrate that a training program for digital skills enhances employees' perceived organizational support, which, in turn, reduces work‐to‐family conflict. By exploring the moderating role of empowering leadership, this study supports the moderation and moderated mediation models. Particularly, both direct and indirect influences are stronger when empowering leadership is high, and weaker if empowering leadership is low. Additionally, we highlight the impact of easing work‐to‐family conflicts on employee job satisfaction and performance in a new context: remote working. Finally, we discuss managerial and theoretical contributions and limitations.

Abstract: Green human resource management (GHRM), seen as a current research trend, plays an important role in organizations’ sustainable development strategies. However, there is still a research gap in the systematization and integration of the available GHRM-related knowledge to suggest detailed future directions. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to conduct a systematic literature review on GHRM aimed at proposing detailed research gaps and agendas for future study. First, this work reviews 74 articles, including 61 research/empirical articles and 13 review articles, linked with the GHRM field from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. These publications are then coded and classified into ten categories before the main findings linked with GHRM knowledge are identified. Last, the study addresses existing research gaps and proposes detailed recommendations and a research framework for further studies. Analysis of the relevant literature is presented in the following main sections: an overview that illustrates the existing findings related to GHRM coded and classified a description that stresses research gaps and proposes in detail 16 recommendations and a research framework that focuses on GHRM for a future research agenda. This review is important for researchers orient the research in GHRM by identifying research gaps and providing detailed recommendations. It is the first work that proposes a full research framework for future studies, especially suggestions of development related to green behavior outside of organizations, the circular economy, and technology based perspectives/Industry 4.0.
