Abstract: Psychological distress is prevalent among university students. However, the availability of evidence-based mental health treatment remains limited in many low- and middle-income countries, including Indonesia. Internet-delivered, mindfulness-based interventions that reduce distress have potential for treating university student distress at scale. Unfortunately, evidence-based, internet-delivered mindfulness treatments are not yet available in Indonesia. Cultural adaptation of established evidence-based, internet-delivered mindfulness interventions is needed. In this paper, we describe the process of culturally adapting an Australian internet-delivered mindfulness program (Introduction to Mindfulness) to be relevant and appropriate for treating Indonesian university students’ psychological distress. To assist the cultural adaptation process, we used a systematic cultural adaptation framework and a mixed methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. In study 1 (information gathering), we administered an internet-delivered questionnaire to Indonesian university students (n=248) to examine their preferences regarding an internet-delivered mindfulness intervention. In study 2 (preliminary design), a draft program was developed and independently reviewed by Indonesian stakeholders. Stakeholders (n=25) included local Indonesian mindfulness and mental health professionals (n=6) and university students (n=19), who were selected to maximize s le representativeness regarding personal and professional characteristics. To evaluate the initial design and cultural congruence of the internet-delivered mindfulness program in the Indonesian context, we conducted interviews and focus groups with stakeholders. Stakeholders also completed the Cultural Relevance Questionnaire. In study 1, most Indonesian university students (240/248, 96.8%) reported openness to an internet-delivered mindfulness program. Most of interested students (127/240, 52.9%) preferred the length of the program to be 3 to 4 sessions, with 45.8% (110/240) preferring brief lessons taking only 15 to 30 minutes to complete. They (194/240, 80.8%) recommended that the program be accessible both through websites and mobile phones. In study 2, Indonesian stakeholders generally found the internet-delivered program to be highly culturally appropriate in terms of language, concepts, context, treatment goals, and depictions of students’ emotional and behavioral experiences. However, stakeholders also recommended some specific adaptations regarding the program’s delivery model (eg, combining visual and audio modalities when delivering psychoeducation), cultural components (eg, including more social and spiritual activities), program practicality (eg, including rewards to promote engagement), and design elements (eg, including additional culturally relevant illustrations). Following stakeholder feedback, a new culturally adapted Indonesian internet-delivered mindfulness program called Program Intervensi Mindfulness Daring Mahasiswa Indonesia was created. This study highlights the process and importance of cultural adaptation of an evidence-based mindfulness treatment and demonstrates how this may be achieved for internet-delivered psychotherapy programs. We found that a culturally adapted internet-delivered mindfulness program was relevant for Indonesian students with some adjustments to the programs’ content and delivery. Future research is now needed to evaluate the clinical benefit of this program.

Abstract: Depresi merupakan gangguan mental yang umum terjadi di dunia, namun tetap menjadi suatu faktor kontribusi pada penurunan kecepatan penyembuhan berbagai penyakit lain. Prevalensi gangguan depresif mayor merupakan salah satu yang tertinggi dan angka tersebut terus meningkat sepanjang sepuluh tahun belakangan ini. Beberapa faktor yang berperan terhadap penurunan depresi banyak dilakukan. Salah satu penelitian di Amerika menunjukkan bahwa in idu yang mengalami depresi atau simtom depresi cenderung memiliki tingkat mindfulness yang rendah, dibuktikan dengan aktivitas neural yang bertolak belakang pada in idu yang depresi dan in idu yang memiliki tingkat mindfulness yang tinggi. Mindfulness merupakan kem uan seorang in idu untuk sadar dan memerhatikan setiap detil kejadian yang sedang terjadi saat itu. Dengan kem uan disposisional untuk mindful, in idu dapat menerima setiap pengalaman yang terjadi dengan reseptif dan terbuka, sehingga kecil kemungkinan in idu untuk melakukan ruminasi. In idu dengan kem uan mindfulness yang tinggi cenderung memiliki tingkat depresi yang rendah, sebaliknya in idu yang dengan tingkat depresi tinggi diketahui memiliki tingkat mindfulness yang rendah. Hanya sedikit publikasi yang telah mendiskusikan depresi pada remaja secara menyeluruh, meskipun beberapa penelitian telah menemukan bahwa awal kemunculan depresi dimulai sejak awal periode kehidupan tersebut. Mengetahui hubungan antara mindfulness dan depresi pada remaja di Indonesia diperlukan sebagai landasan awal untuk penelitian selanjutnya dan memberikan panduan untuk terapi mindfulness dalam mengatasi depresi pada remaja di Indonesia. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain korelasional, Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) dan kuesioner depresi yaitu BDI, disebarkan kepada 200 remaja. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan korelasi Spearman, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara mindfulness dan depresi, terutama pada dimensi acting with awareness dan non judging of inner experience. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi skor mindfulness pada dimensi acting with awareness dan non judging of inner experience, maka semakin rendah skor depresi yang dimiliki remaja.

Abstract: Remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan lebih rentan mengalami masalah dalam kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan. Namun demikian, terdapat pula mereka yang memandang kehidupannya sebagai pengalaman yang positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kebersyukuran sebagai faktor pelindung terhadap kualitas hidup kesehatan pada remaja di panti asuhan. S el dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 remaja panti asuhan yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik incidental s ling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur kebersyukuran versi Indonesia dan adaptasi skala kualitas hidup kesehatan. Hasil uji regresi menemukan bahwa kebersyukuran berperan terhadap kualitas hidup kesehatan pada dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis serta dukungan sosial dan teman sebaya. Akan tetapi, kebersyukuran tidak berperan terhadap kualitas hidup kesehatan dimensi kesejahteraan fisik, hubungan orang tua dan kemandirian serta lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber referensi mengenai pentingnya pengembangan kebersyukuran dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas hidup kesehatan pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan, khususnya dalam aspek kesejahteraan psikologis dan dukungan sosial serta teman sebaya.

Abstract: The purpose of thi study is to examine whether self-compassion can predict the level of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among adolescents who live in foster care. The study used quantitative method with cross-sectional design. The s le were 140 teenagers recruited using convenience s ling technique from several foster care in Bekasi and Jakarta. Self Compassion Scale (SCSC) and KIDSCREEN-27 instrument were used to measure the level of self-compassion and HRQoL. Regression test was found that the influence of self-compassion toward HRQoL is significant on the dimension of physical wellbeing, psychological wellbeing, parent relations and autonomy, and school environment. However, self-compassion did not have significant influence toward health-related quality of life on the dimension of social support and peers. The role of self-compassion toward HRQoL implied that adolescents living at foster care need to develop a compassionate attitude for theirself in order to achieve better HRQoL.

Abstract: Islam mengatur cara memilih pasangan yang ideal dan menjelaskan hak dah kewajiban yang akan dilaksanakan setelah mereka berumah tangga. Namun meningkatnya perceraian di Indonesia adalah sebuah pertanda mengenai ketidaksiapan pasangan suami istri terhadap hak dan kewajiban mereka dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Penyuluhan persiapan pranikah perpektif Islam ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah sehingga dapat mempersiapkan mereka dalam memilih pasangan hidup dan mengemban tanggung jawab dalam pernikahan. Penyuluhan ini memberikan tema-tema menarik seperti konsep memilih pasangan hidup, proses ta’aruf dan Khitbah, hak dan kewajiban suami istri, serta mempersiapkan keturunan yang sholih dari sisi Islam dan psikologi. Partisipan penyuluhan adalah remaja akhir dan dewasa muda yang belum menikah baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. However, the increasing rate of orce in Indonesia is a sign of the unpreparedness of married couples towards their rights and obligations in carrying out their duties. Education of Islamic perspective premarital preparations has been done done to increase the knowledge of the late adolescents regarding the concept of sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah and also to prepare their readiness to choose partner based on Islamic criteria and for being more thoughtful about responsibility in marriage life. This program provides interesting themes such as the concept of choosing a spouse, the process of ta'aruf and khitbah, the rights and obligations of husband and wife, and offspring issues from the side of Islam and psychology. Participants are single late teenagers and young adult, both men and women. Outreach results indicate an increase in participants' knowledge regarding the concept of marriage in Islamic perspective.Key words: pre-marital, marriage, Islam, education

Abstract: Married woman who are working as journalist have their own challenge to achieve optimal psychological well-being. This research aims to investigate how is the role of husband’s social support towards psychological well-being of female journalists. The study used quantitative approach and cross-sectional design. By snowball s ling method, research was conducted to 100 female journalist using adapted scale of psychological well-being (SPWB) and social support questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Based on regression analysis, social support from husband positively and significantly influence psychological well-being of female journalists, with mostly contributes to environmental mastery dimension and life purpose. Thus, it is imperative for female journalist husband to give support for their spouse in order to enhance the psychological well-being of female journalists.

Abstract: Training of gratitude is expected to grow these factors. Being grateful can lead to positive emotions that may create acceptance the conditions of self and positive social relationships. This training program was conducted for a full day, including induction and release of negative emotions, lesson about gratitude, mutual influence, contemplation, and pouring a sense of gratitude in writing. Training is given to 37 students of class X at SMKN 31 Jakarta. Pre and post test was conducted before and after training, using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and PANAS (Positive affect-negative affect schedule). The effect of the training was analyzed by counting the change of mean from pre to post test score for each scale. The result showed that there are an increased of positive emotion score means after the training, from 6.92 to 7.41 for VAS and from 3.53 to 3.81 for PANAS score. Then it may concluded that the gratitude training program improve the positive emotion of the students.

Abstract: Bersyukur memiliki keuntungan secara emosi dan interpersonal. Dengan melihat dan merasakan penderitaan sebagai sesuatu yang positif, maka seseorang akan bisa meningkatkan kem uan coping barunya baik secara sadar maupun tidak. Pembuatan alat ukur bersyukur diharapkan dapat membantu penelitian, pemeriksaan, atau intervensi terkait rasa syukur pada populasi di Indonesia. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 264 orang terdiri dari 90 orang pria (34%) dan 174 orang wanita (66%). Rentang umur responden dari 20 s ai 75 tahun. Berdasarkan uji psikometri yang dilakukan melalui konsistensi internal dan uji validitas konstruk, skala bersyukur versi Indonesia memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik. Skala ini dapat mengukur satu kontruk yang sama secara konsisten, dapat membedakan in idu dengan rasa syukur tinggi dan rendah, dan valid untuk mengukur konstruk bersyukur melalui tiga faktor, yaitu sense of appreciation, perasaan positif, dan ekspresi rasa syukur. Dengan standar psikometri yang sudah baik, maka skala bersyukur versi Indonesia yang dipaparkan dalam penelitian ini sudah dapat digunakan untuk mengukur rasa syukur dalam konteks penelitian maupun intervensi klinis pada populasi di Indonesia.

Abstract: Dalam proses pencarian jati dirinya, para remaja membutuhkan adanya pengetahuan mengenai diri sendiri, meliputi pemahaman mengenai kekuatan yang dimilikinya dan bagaimana cara untuk mengoptimalkan serta memanfaatkan kekuatan yang dimiliki bagi pengembangan dirinya. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan adanya pelatihan pengembangan diri yang bertujuan agar remaja menjadi lebih sadar, mengenali, dan menerima dirinya untuk kemudian menguatkan potensi yang dimiliki di masa depan. Program SADARI (Sadar dan Kenali Diri) adalah program pelatihan komunitas yang dirancang dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, introspeksi, dan pengungkapan diri serta dilakukan dengan pendekatan psikologi positif. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pengusul bekerjasama dengan Foraja (Forum Remaja) Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Barat, Jakarta Pusat dan RPTRA Mardani Asri. Hasil evaluasi program menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator pencapaian berhasil tercapai. Saran dan masukan untuk program ke depannya juga disertakan di dalam artikel ini.

Abstract: COVID-19 has disrupted all aspects of human life. To mitigate the impact of the pandemic, several efforts have been taken, including by Indonesian scholars abroad. This book entitled Indonesia Post-Pandemic Outlook: Rethinking Health and Economics Post-COVID-19 explores opportunities and innovations to push forward to recover from COVID-19, both in health and economics. Comprising 15 chapters, this book is split into three main themes. The first part, Digital Transformation, focuses on how digital transformation has provided new ways of working in health, Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), financing, and the tourism industry, especially in this post-pandemic era. Second, Building Future Ready Resilient Societies, raises the critical question of how the Indonesian society can be more resilient and future-ready to face a future that changes more rapidly than before, through the lens of food systems, mental health, culture, collaborative leadership, communities, and global supply chains. The last part, Equitable, Sustainable, and Green Development, presents ideas on what it takes to build a more equitable, sustainable, and greener future without sacrificing prosperity. We hope that this book can be a valuable reference for stakeholders, policymakers, as well as society to recover from the pandemic crisis and find better solutions to benefit future generations.

Abstract: Mahasiswa merupakan in idu yang berada dalam masa dewasa transisi sehingga dibutuhkan em /em kesejahteraan psikologis yang optimal dalam menghadapi tugas perkembangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh dimensi-dimensi rasa kesadaran ( em mindfulness /em ) em /em terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis em /em ada mahasiswa. S el dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 200 orang mahasiswa dari wilayah Jabodetabek, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik em convenience s ling /em . Penelitian menggunakan adaptasi skala em Five Facet Mindfulness Quisionare (FFMQ) /em untuk mengukur rasa kesadaran em /em dan adaptasi skala em Scale of Psychological Well-Being (SPWB) /em untuk mengukur kesejahteraan psikologis. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa rasa kesadaran em /em memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis em , /em yaitu pada dimensi penerimaan diri dan penguasaan lingkungan. Dimensi rasa kesadaran yang berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan diri adalah mengamati em /em dan tidak menghakimi pengalaman internal, sedangkan dimensi rasa kesadaran yang berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan lingkungan adalah mengamati. Dengan demikian, menjadi penting untuk mahasiswa mengembangkan rasa kesadaran dengan menerima dan mengamati berbagai pengalaman internal maupun eksternal agar lebih m u menerima diri sendiri dan menguasai tantangan hidup sehari-hari.

Abstract: Compared to other cities in Indonesia, DKI Jakarta, as one of the largest urban areas, is ranked quite high in orce rates. It is known that parental orce has several impacts on children. For ex le, adolescents with orced parents have a greater risk of various psychological problems. Previous studies have shown that gratitude enhances positivity and optimism, and it also helps in iduals through difficult times, including parental orce. This non-experimental study aims to determine the role of gratitude in resilience among adolescents (12 – 21 years old) based in the Jakarta metropolitan area (Jabodetabek), whose parents are orced. Non-probability s ling was used to recruit the participants (n = 109). The measurements used in this study are the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (α = 0.896) and Gratitude Scale Indonesian Version (Skala Bersyukur Versi Indonesia (SBI)) (α = 0.896). Simple linear regression showed that gratitude plays a significant role in a participant’s resilience (p 0.05). Further, 28.9% of the variance in resilience can be explained by gratitude. These findings highlight the importance of gratitude interventions to enhance resilience among adolescents with orced parents.

Abstract: The option for biological nitrogen removal has recently been broadened with the description of simultaneous nitrification/denitrification, anaerobic ammonium oxidation (ANAMMOX) and the concept of CANON (completely autotrophic nitrogen removal over nitrite). An autotrophic anaerobic ammonium oxidation (AAAO) consortium was successfully selected and enriched from municipal treatment plant sludges in Sydney, Australia, but not from industrial coke-oven wastewater sludges. Chemolithoautotrophic basic salt (CLABS) medium was used in the selection of AAAO organisms and chlor henicol was added to the initial stage of selection to eliminate denitrifiers. Two different temperatures, 37 degrees C and 55 degrees C, were used in the selection of mesophilic and thermophilic consortia, respectively. Thermophilic AAAO organisms were not selected at 55 degrees C. Mesophilic AAAO activities, however, were evident in both batch and continuous cultures, whereby ammonium was consumed concurrently with a decrease of nitrite, giving a ratio of 1:1-1:1.3 in ammonium removal rate over nitrite consumption rate. A continuous-mode mesophilic fixed-bed reactor was established to enrich the AAAO consortium. After 1 year, biofilms, pinkish in color, had developed on the support media and side wall of the feed-line tubing. Ammonium and nitrite consumption increased from approximately 15 mg to 60 mg d(-1) L(-1) over a period of 243 days. Later, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) techniques revealed that the dominant cell type in the AAAO consortium had a similar morphology and 16S rDNA sequence homology to that of the recently described ANAMMOX organism, "Brocadia anammoxidans".

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dengan resiliensi pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan. S el penelitian ini adalah 140 remaja panti asuhan dengan karakteristik usia 14-18 tahun yang dipilih dengan teknik convenience s ling dari 12 panti asuhan di Jakarta dan Bekasi. Penelitian ini mengunakan adaptasi alat ukur Self Compassion dan resiliensi. Hasil uji korelasi menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan resiliensi pada remaja di panti asuhan (r=0,439, p=0.00). Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi acuan mengenai pentingnya memberi perhatian terhadap self-compassion dalam mengembangkan resiliensi bagi remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan

Abstract: class="IABSTRAK" strong Abstract: /strong During adolescence, in iduals experience various changes physically, psychologically, and socially, which may bring issues that can potentially disrupt adolescents’ psychological well-being. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of a tendency for being present in the moment, or trait mindfulness, on psychological well-being among adolescents. The s le for this study was 200 adolescents living in Greater Area of Jakarta, collected by incidental s ling. This study used an adapted Child and Adolescent Mindfulness (CAMM) Scale to measure trait mindfulness and an adapted Scale of Psychological Well-being (SPWB) to measure six dimensions of psychological well-being. Data is analyzed by regression analysis. Regression results indicated that trait mindfulness has positive and significant contribution in every dimension of psychological well-being in adolescents, specifically on environmental mastery. The implication of this research will be discussed in the end of the paper. class="IKEYWORDS" strong Abstrak: /strong Remaja mengalami perbedaan dan perubahan secara fisik, psikis, maupun sosial sehingga, dapat memunculkan beberapa masalah-masalah yang dapat mengganggu kesejahteraan psikologis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari kem uan untuk memberi perhatian penuh, yang disebut sebagai em mindfulness, /em terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pada remaja. S el dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 200 orang remaja di wilayah Jabodetabek, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik incidental s ling. Penelitian menggunakan adaptasi skala em Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure /em (CAMM) untuk mengukur em mindfulness /em dan adaptasi skala em Scale of /em em Psychological Well-being /em (SPWB) untuk mengukur keenam dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis. Data dianalisa menggunakan uji regresi. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa em mindfulness /em berperan positif dan signifikan terhadap setiap dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis pada remaja, khususnya pada dimensi penguasaan lingkungan. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian akan dijelaskan di bagian akhir.

Abstract: AbstractYoung people living in social institutions are more vulnerable to have mental health problems. Thus, they need to have psychological resilience, which is the ability to thrive in the face of adversity. The aim of the study is to investigate how much emotional intelligence can predict the psychological resilience of adolescents living at social institutions (orphanage). Research used quantitative approach and correlational design. In this study, by using purposive s ling technique, 145 adolescents aged 11 - 18 years living at orphanage around Jakarta were participated. Adaptation of resilience scale from Connor & Davidson was used to measure the psychological resilience and the scale of emotional intelligence was an adapted scale from theory of Salovey and Mayer. Both adapted scale shown good reliability index indicated that they can use to measure the variables consistently. The statistical analysis using linear regression test indicate that emotional intelligence can predict psychological resilience significantly and positively. It is implied that emotional intelligence is being an important factor for resilience development among orphanage youth. Thus, it is imperative to cultivate emotional intelligence aspects in resilience building program for young people living in social shelters. Oleh karena itu, mereka membutuhkan resiliensi psikologis, yaitu kem uan untuk bisa bangkit dari masalah yang dihadapi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kecerdasan emosional dapat menjadi prediktor dari resiliensi psikologis pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Menggunakan teknik s ling purposive, sebanyak 145 orang remaja berusia 11 – 18 tahun yang tinggal di panti asuhan yang ada wilayah sekitar Jakarta dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Adaptasi skala resiliensi dari Connor dan Davidson dan skala kecerdasan emosional berdasarkan teori Salovey dan Mayer untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional digunakan di dalam penelitian ini. Kedua skala yang diadaptasi menunjukkan reliabilitas yang baik sehingga layak digunakan. Hasil analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecerdasan emosional menjadi prediktor yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi psikologis secara signifikan dan positif Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional menjadi faktor yang penting dalam peningkatan resiliensi psikologis remaja panti asuhan. Oleh karena itu, perlu untuk menumbuhkan aspek-aspek yang menyusun kecerdasan emosional di dalam program pengembangan resiliensi psikologis pada remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan.Kata kunci : Kecerdasan emosi Panti asuhan Remaja Resiliensi
