Funded Activity Summary

This Fellowship supports an innovative body of research focussed on interventions to improve the care and outcomes of stroke. In Australia, stroke is a leading cause of death and disability. Unfortunately, variability in clinical care is resulting in some preventable disability. Over the next 4 years A/Prof Cadilhac will conduct clinical trials (n=2) and observational studies (n=3) aimed at improving the health system and outcomes of stroke. She uses economic evaluation to ensure findings are used for changing policy.
