Funded Activity Summary

Health outcomes for Australian children with cerebral palsy (CP) are reduced compared to similar children in other countries where there is greater uptake of research evidence in their management. This project will investigate strategies to facilitate the use of evidence-based outcomes among health professionals who work with children with CP to reduce hip dislocation, severe contractures and pain, and improve daily activity participation. This will in turn improve the health outcomes for Australian children with CP.
