Funded Activity Summary

The auditability of soil carbon. Agriculture has the capacity to capture and store carbon emission in soil. However there is no guarantee that the industry will be able to benefit from carbon offsets in the current and future carbon economy, because there is no accurate and efficient way of measuring soil carbon storage. This project will provide a methodology that can measure and monitor soil carbon storage on individual farms with statistical confidence, which is crucial to the agricultural industry taking part in the carbon economy.
