Funded Activity Summary

Spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscope: a critical instrument for expanding the functionality of state-of-the-art oxide Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) system. The combination of spin-polarized scanning tunnelling microscope with two advanced scanning probe microscopes in our lab will provide a full range of characterisation capability in temperature, pressure and field dependence of electronic, magnetic and photonic properties related to spin dynamics and atomic arrangement from atomic to nanometer scales.
