Funded Activity Summary

Governance, human capital and regional investment in China's new creative clusters. This project will tell us much about China's bid to become more innovative, competitive and creative by harnessing foreign investment and human capital in the creative industries. It will show if foreign investment in designated creative clusters can trigger processes of sustainable development for regions and localities. It will show the benefits that foreign investors and businesses (including Australian companies) might obtain from participating in the cluster model, and the kinds of social and economic dividends that accrue to local actors and communities.
