Objectives:
1. Document historic catch and effort trends in the SEF gillnet fishery for Blue Warehou using privately held records of catch and effort.
2. Collate and present gillnet catch and effort data in a manner that protects the confidentiality of the private data sources without limiting the usefulness of the information in the stock assessment process.
3. Provide a preliminary estimate of blue warehou population trends within the area of the gill-net fishery.
