Evolutionary dynamics of the algae: understanding adaptive potential under environmental change. Ecological niches and trace metal availability have large influences on the role of marine algae as a sink for anthropogenic carbon dioxide. This interdisciplinary project will characterise the evolution of ecological niches and trace metal utilisation in marine algae to better predict the fate of anthropogenic carbon dioxide and coastal ecosystems.Funded Activity Details
