The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) invites you to participate in a short survey about your
interaction with the ARDC and use of our national research infrastructure and services. The survey will take
approximately 5 minutes and is anonymous. It’s open to anyone who uses our digital research infrastructure
services including Reasearch Link Australia.
We will use the information you provide to improve the national research infrastructure and services we
deliver and to report on user satisfaction to the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research
Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program.
Please take a few minutes to provide your input. The survey closes COB Friday 29 May 2026.

The Role Of Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) In The Pathogenesis Of Lymphatic Malformations
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$87,198.00
Summary
Lymphatic malformations or cystic hygomas are growths of abnormal blood vessels called 'lymphatic vessels'. They are present at birth, commonly affect the head and neck, and can cause lifelong problems due to growth in size and frequent infections. Surgical treatment does not offer a cure, and problems often persist lifelong. The finding that blood clots are continuously forming and breaking down in these growths may provide a clue to relieving symptoms and understanding the cause of this condit ....Lymphatic malformations or cystic hygomas are growths of abnormal blood vessels called 'lymphatic vessels'. Summary
Severe infections are characterised by a profound drop in blood pressure, which starve vital organs of oxygen and nutrients, this septic shock can lead to organ failure and death. We aim to identify dysfunction of the molecular signals in blood vessels, which leads to the failure of these vessels to maintain adequate blood pressure. Understanding the mechanisms regulating blood pressure during septic shock will enable us to develop therapies to support the circulation and reduce the significan ....Severe infections are characterised by a profound drop in blood pressure, which starve vital organs of oxygen and nutrients, this septic shock can lead to organ failure and death. Monomeric C-reactive Protein As Pathogenic Factor And Therapeutic Target In Athero-thrombotic Disease.
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$86,570.00
Summary
Vascular disease of the heart, brain and limbs affects many people in Australia and throughout the world. Current treatments assist in slowing the development and progression of established disease, but new developments are required. This project will investigate the role of C-reactive protein in vascular disease and evaluate its potential as a new therapeutic target in the future.
