This project will identify managerial controllable factors that ensure more consistent and widespread deployment of effective operational risk management practices and attitudes. It will inform the monitoring activities of regulators. In turn, it will enable the financial services industry to better avoid undesirable risks and to better manage the negative effects of unexpected events. This directly contributes to the future stability of the Australian economy.
