    Summary
    Microperimetry is a clinical tool for measuring central visual function whilst the retina is continuously monitored and retinal testing locus adjusted for eye movements. Regulatory authorities are now considering outcomes of microperimetry as a valid clinical trials endpoint in certain retinal conditions because visual acuity does not always reflect disease progression. This project will validate various types of microperimeters and determine how they should be used to monitor macular diseases.

This project expects to provide these languages with improved memory-management algorithms, and provides researchers and industry with a framework for innovation. This project will enable safe software that is more efficient on today's hardware and able to exploit emerging hardware. This project should lead to better performance and energy savings for server applications, phones, watches, and smart appliances, while ensuring memory safety.

This project will be a crucial enabler to accelerating the development of new flexible microelectronic technologies, from solar panels to electronic skin. This innovation will enable Australia to maintain an important connection to the rapidly-evolving international microelectronic industry and add significant value to Australian manufacturing industries.
