The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) invites you to participate in a short survey about your
interaction with the ARDC and use of our national research infrastructure and services. The survey will take
approximately 5 minutes and is anonymous. It’s open to anyone who uses our digital research infrastructure
services including Reasearch Link Australia.
We will use the information you provide to improve the national research infrastructure and services we
deliver and to report on user satisfaction to the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research
Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program.
Please take a few minutes to provide your input. The survey closes COB Friday 29 May 2026.

Nutrition shapes the relationship between genes and health, and failure to attain dietary balance has profound biological consequences leading to disease. This Application proposes an integrated program that harnesses advances in nutritional theory, systems metabolism, and data modelling that evaluates the effects of macro- and micro-nutrients on mice, cells and humans. This will provide the scientific foundations necessary for the development of evidence-based precision nutrition.
Improving Chronic Disease Outcomes For Indigenous Australians: Causes,Interventions, System Change
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$8,788,853.00
Summary
Diabetes and cardiovascular diseases occur in epidemic proportions among Indigenous Australians, with very early age of onset and high rates of preventable complications. This Program will bring together a multi skilled team of researchers with Indigenous partners to better understand the development of these conditions, and to guide the development of diet, lifestyle, clinical and health system interventions in order to minimise their adverse impacts and improve health overall.
Atherosclerosis - The Key Roles Of HDL, Cell Cholesterol Metabolism And Vascular Function
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$7,085,050.00
Summary
Atherosclerosis, an accumulation of cholesterol in the artery wall, is a major cause of illness and premature death worldwide. It is caused by conditions such as low levels of the protective high density lipoproteins (HDLs), diabetes, smoking and abnormal function of arteries, all of which are linked to disorders of cholesterol metabolism. With our expertise in HDLs, cholesterol metabolism and artery function, our research will lead to the development of novel strategies for early detection and ....Atherosclerosis, an accumulation of cholesterol in the artery wall, is a major cause of illness and premature death worldwide. ADVANCING THE EVIDENCE BASE FOR CARE AND POLICY IN PRIORITY HEALTH AREAS
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$11,195,727.00
Summary
This program will improve health care and policy through clinical trials research and better methods for combining trial evidence. The team will tackle priority health areas to reduce death and serious disability: in particular in cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity and neonatal diseases. The program team includes clinicians, epidemiologists, trialists, biostatisticians, and health economists and collaborative networks of clinical investigators in each disease area.
