Real-time control and data analysis of remote synchrotron microprobe experiments. A Canadian-Australian collaboration to design and construct sister synchrotron microdiffraction fluorescence probes (mDFP) commenced in 2004. This system will enable Australian scientists to use the Canadian mDFP, and subsequently the Australian Synchrotron mDFP, from their home institutions.
