Scenario testing for sustainable Australian agricultural landscapes to 2050. Intergenerational park design for active and engaged communities. This project will assess the opportunities and barriers for physical activity for intergenerational park users within South East Queensland. In 2015, approximately 80% of the world’s adolescents and 25% of adults were insufficiently active. Physical inactivity costs the Australian economy $13.8 billion annually, and contributes to the fourth leading cause of death worldwide. This project aims to examine the work and study cultures of architecture in Australia, in relation to professional identity, and in terms of impact on wellbeing, with a whole-of-career scope spanning education to retirement. It will generate the first comprehensive account of work-related wellbeing problems for both architectural practitioners and students, via qualitative and quantitative methods and a vigorous engagem ....Architectural Work Cultures: professional identity, education and wellbeing. Partnering with local knowledge systems to impact river management. The project aims to connect Local and Indigenous Knowledge Systems (LINKS) to other actors and processes involved in river transformation. Working in partnership with holders of Local and Indigenous knowledge, and using Indonesian river catchments as case studies, the project expects to generate new knowledge in development and planning studies. Atypical femoral fractures (AFF) are uncommon, but catastrophic, complications of the anti-osteoporosis medications, bisphosphonates. We aim to identify patients either protected from, or at risk of, AFF by identifying changes in their bone geometry, structure and quality, and genes increasing risk of these fractures. In this way, these cheap and effective anti-osteoporosis treatments can be targeted to patients at the lowest risk of AFF and alternative treatments to those at highest risk.

A New Approach to the Structure of Atomic Nuclei. Starting at the quark level, we have derived a theory of nuclear structure, that in its initial application appears extremely successful. The aim of this project is to advance this revolutionary new approach to the theory of nuclear structure to the next level by exploring its predictions for a number of outstanding questions in modern nuclear physics.
