The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) invites you to participate in a short survey about your
interaction with the ARDC and use of our national research infrastructure and services. The survey will take
approximately 5 minutes and is anonymous. It’s open to anyone who uses our digital research infrastructure
services including Reasearch Link Australia.
We will use the information you provide to improve the national research infrastructure and services we
deliver and to report on user satisfaction to the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research
Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program.
Please take a few minutes to provide your input. The survey closes COB Friday 29 May 2026.

Modulating Pathogenic Signalling Towards The Prevention Of Diabetic Complications
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$622,655.00
Summary
Diabetes is associated with an increased risk of heart attacks and kidney failure. There remains an urgent need for new targets and therapies for preventing, arresting, treating and reversing these diabetic complications. My research directly focuses on identifying and validating these targets treatments, building on strong preliminary data and understanding of the molecular mechanisms set off by high sugar levels.
MicroRNA Pathway Control Of Immune Cell Development
Funder
National Health and Medical Research Council
Funding Amount
$631,370.00
Summary
The immune system is comprised of many different cell types, each with a specialised function. Many are short-lived and must be continually replenished throughout life. Abnormalities in this process underlie many human diseases, including immunodeficiency, autoimmunity and cancer. My laboratory seeks to understand the molecular pathways that control development of immune cells and to identify the defects that lead to disease.
