The Centre's mission is to improve Aboriginal health. It will conduct Aboriginal community-controlled population health and outcome-oriented research on strategies and systems that support individuals and communities to prevent and manage chronic diseases. The Centre will provide a range of research and other training opportunities for Aboriginal people, building the capacity of Aboriginal communities to direct and conduct their own health research independently.
