Ethical and Social Issues in Translating Epigenetics into Antenatal Care. This project aims to investigate how knowledge about the intergenerational transmission of health and disease is shaping antenatal care in Australia. It expects to generate new knowledge about how the science of epigenetics can be used to address social inequality and is anticipated to have impact across the social sciences, bioethics and public health. Nutrition insecurity and livelihood decision-making in rural Myanmar. Global progress against malnutrition has been too slow to allow the Millennium Development Goals on hunger to be met. International research has proposed that these failures are due to the fact that the livelihood options available to poor households are increasingly misaligned from their traditional channels for ensuring food and nutrition security. The project plans to conduct qualitative research with individuals, families and other stakeholders to reveal the interplay between diversity in family forms and understandings and experiences of serodiscordance, or mixed inf ....Critical perspectives on serodiscordance in family life.
