Thin markets, where there are a low number of buyers or low number of sellers, are a major risk for governments utilising a personalised approach to service delivery. This project will develop new methodologies for identifying thin markets and determine ways emerging markets can be stewarded to better achieve their aims.

This project will address the social and community impacts of the Murray-Darling Basin proposed Plan in dairy communities identified as especially vulnerable. It will identify social supports that will build social sustainability, aid adaptation and foster individual and community resilience.
Ethnic discrimination in the private rental housing market. Paired testing protocols, as used in North American and Europe, will be used for the first time in Australia to test for ethnic discrimination in the allocation of private rental housing. This will fill a significant gap in current knowledge, and provide an evidence for policy action and remedies.
