Distribution and origin of 4 billion-year-old zircons from Western Australia: Implications for the early history of the earth and moom. We aim to determine the distribution and origin of >4 billion year old (Ga) zircons in rocks from north-western Western Australia, using geological mapping, mineralogical and chemical techniques and SHRIMP zircon geochronology. In this research, we will collaborate with international research groups also intending to investigate the early history of the Earth using the >4Ga zircons. Understanding cross-cultural consumer behaviour and implications for effective segmentation, targeting and positioning of Western Australia as a tourism destination. This research extends a model of cross-cultural consumer behaviour suggested by the first CI (Lee, 2000) that provides richer specification of the antecedents of people's actions than previously suggested models. The model will be compared with these models, which have been successful in Western, but less successful in Eastern, cult ....Understanding cross-cultural consumer behaviour and implications for effective segmentation, targeting and positioning of Western Australia as a tourism destination. The model will be tested in the tourism domain to predict intentions and behaviour of potential visitors. Results will be used to improve the effectiveness of Western Australia's tourism marketing. Indigenous Tourism in the South West Region of Western Australia: a case study analysis from a Nyungar Perspective. This proposal seeks to: create a southern Australian Indigenous Tourism inventory that emphasises the distinct regional tourism characteristics and preferences. This would be the first academic research undertaking of its kind in this area; establish a series of case studies and best practice scenarios that highlight regional opportunities; and identify relevant ?partnerships? tha ....Indigenous Tourism in the South West Region of Western Australia: a case study analysis from a Nyungar Perspective. The new formal models are designed to provide a comprehensive account of behaviour, including the choices that are made, how long it takes to make them, and how choices and choice times vary within and between decision-makers. The models would explain how people adapt to changes in task demand ....Modelling human decision making in complex environments. We do not know how language first arose (the event left no trace), but it can be studied by simulating the circumstances under which new languages arise today. By having people play a game where they create new communication systems from scratch, this project will illuminate the origin of human language.
