The project seeks to provide a picture of the educational experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children across time, different locations (urban, regional, remote) and life circumstances. It plans to map how children achieve strong education regardless of disadvantage and uses Indigenous and Western concepts of educational attainment and resilience to frame its analyses. Since the 1960s, Aboriginal people started to collect these material objects, defined as 'Aboriginalia'. This interdisciplinary project aims to examine Aboriginal collectors' representations of 'Aboriginalia'. Because the SWW are key drivers of Southern Hemisphere climate, Southern Ocean circulation and global carbon dioxide concentrations, it is important to understand how they respond to changes in boundary conditions.
