Analysis of the Global Price Competitiveness of Tourism with particular reference to Australia. Grid-enabled fusion of global data and local knowledge – applying the INWA Grid to eResearch links with China. This project extends a model of eResearch that has been demonstrated between the UK and Australia in a collaboration between the UK National eScience Centre and Curtin University that modelled consumer behaviour in telecommunications and financial services markets using Grid technologies. The INWA (Innovation Node – Western Australia) Grid was extended to the Chinese Academy of Sciences ....Grid-enabled fusion of global data and local knowledge – applying the INWA Grid to eResearch links with China. This project extends a model of eResearch that has been demonstrated between the UK and Australia in a collaboration between the UK National eScience Centre and Curtin University that modelled consumer behaviour in telecommunications and financial services markets using Grid technologies. The INWA (Innovation Node – Western Australia) Grid was extended to the Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2005 and now offers the potential for applying these techniques to emerging markets within China. Modelling and understanding these dynamics within the most rapidly developing economy in the world provides a number of valuable outputs but will also allow a Grid support for collaborative eResearch across three continents to be tested and developed.Read moreRead less
