Up to now, environmental change research has focused on the individual level, severely limiting our predictive capacity. This project will develop a novel 'first principle' approach to solve this shortcoming and make population-level predictions possible.

This research will enable better understanding of the ways in which households respond to governmental imperatives to become more sustainable in their own circumstances.
