Women’s participation in peace processes makes a successful peace agreement likelier, but may not consolidate peace or lead to greater participation by women in the governance of the country. International policing and civilian protection in UN peace operations. This project aims to evaluate how police implement mandates for the protection of civilians in United Nations peace operations. Police peacekeepers are deployed to protect hundreds of thousands of civilians in increasingly complex conflict situations. However, their contributions to civilian protection have not been systematically evaluated. Despite prevention campaigns and the criminalisation of people smuggling in Indonesia in 2011, people smuggling networks remain resilient and resistant to anti-people smuggling law enforce ....People smuggling in Indonesia: causes, pathways and responses .
