Social isolation imposes a high cost on affected individuals and the community at large. This project will determine what interventions work in addressing social isolation amongst the older population.

Framed by recognition theory, this project proposes empirical research with young people with cognitive disability, using a new concept of ‘everyday harms’ in their paid relationships. Summary
This research will investigate the impact of ischemic heart disease on the prevalence and severity of patients with depression. This will be done via a 12 month general practice based program of 1) systematic screening for depression 2) informing general practitioners of best-practice guidelines for management of depression in these patients, and 3) providing the treating general practitioner with patient-specific, psychiatric advice.
Implementing teleauscultation for remote user health services in Australia: A case study with economic evaluation. By reducing the requirement for patients to travel to major centres for assessment, this project is expected to result in significant direct savings per individual patient. Indirect cost reductions will also result from the minimisation of travel for patients, with the potential for national savings in transport infrastructure costs, greenhouse gases emissions, and decreasing other ....Implementing teleauscultation for remote user health services in Australia: A case study with economic evaluation.
