Investigating public support for climate aid in Australia and abroad. This project aims to investigate public attitudes towards policies that provide aid to those affected by climate change, including resettlement for those displaced. It aims to do so using a series of innovative approaches, including large-scale international surveys and novel experiments. This should provide significant benefits, such as by building Australia’s capacity for effective social and policy responses to climate change, and helping Australia plan for the repercussions of environmental change on social cohesion.
