Much is known regarding the factors that increase the risk of developing multiple sclerosis. However there is little data regarding the importance of these and other factors on the rate of progression of MS. Once the diagnosis of MS is made one of the critical issues for patients and treating physicians is; what will happen now? The main cause of death among renal failure patients starting dialysis is from fatal heart rhythms leading to sudden death, preventable with defibrillators. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of the new less invasive defibrillators placed placed just under the skin. It would allow more patients to receive life saving therapy without the vascular complications.
