Funding is sought to establish the framework for an Australian-based international research network of scholars in medieval and early modern studies (MEMS). The MEMS network will develop collaborative, cross-institutional and interdisciplinary lines of enquiry in three main areas: family, gender and social history; war, peace and conflict; Australian reception of European culture.
