Development of an active noise control system for sleeper seats on large commercial aircraft. The Internet of Things Testbed facility replicates the conditions of a city-wide distribution of sensors and data collection applications to model in real time the functioning urban sensing elements of a smart city, translating vast amounts of sensor data into meaningful information and ultimately action.
A Novel Inline High-Efficiency Motor/Pump System. Around 19% of the world’s and 30% of the Australia’s electric energy is consumed by pump technologies. Significant energy savings are possible if the major components of pump systems, including inverter, motor and pump, operate at their maximum possible efficiency under varying loads. A novel pump design in this project accommodates integrated electronics in a submersible housing.
