Social networks underpin our everyday lives and are fundamental to issues such as disease transmission and healthcare system design. It has long been recognised that existing models of social and economic behaviour are missing critical unmeasured elements. In many instances, these are the invisible connections between people and organisations that allow bonds of trust to form and informal information to flow. Network analysis can elucidate these hidden channels. This project aims to develop a statistical co-evolution modelling framework for social networks for both cross-sectional and longitudinal analysis. The home-based business sector has been calculated to represent 67% of the small business sector in Australia. There is a conservative estimate that at least one in ten homes in Australia now hosts a home-based business. Under Governments of all political persuasions, growth of small business is seen as important to the growth of the economy. Generating insights for the future: A retrospective, comparative study of attempts to implement large-scale electronic health record systems. This is a retrospective, comparative study of five attempts to set up regional and national systems for sharing electronic health records in Australia and Britain. The purpose is to learn from the mistakes and successes of the past, so that complex technology projects such as these can be better managed in the future.

Governments have expended vast resources on building websites, yet how government is structured on the internet is unknown. This project will map Australia's online government for the first time and assess to how websites are supporting improved government service. The study will support government innovation in web design and service delivery.

Disorder cannot always be cured by better or stricter management, as disorder is intertwined together with modes of ordering and their interaction with natural or social orders.

Attention is given to how e-government differently affects rural, urban, young, old, rich and poor persons.
