Summary
Given Australia’s rapidly ageing population, keeping up with future demands and maintaining quality of care in residential aged care facilities (RACF) is vital. This study will assess whether care delivered is consistent with the evidence in 15 conditions that are frequently managed in RACFs. These will include delirium, dementia, depression, pain management and medication management. We will also assess the quality of life of residents in RACFs.

However, poor segmentation analysis leads to poor segment choice. This project will develop tools to improve segmentation analysis and will test the resulting tools in tourism, foster care and climate change mitigating behaviours, and produce usable, transferable recommendations.
CoopEcoSafe: a new cooperative, green and safe driving system. Road transport plays a vital role in our economy but generates huge costs in road trauma and greenhouse gases. Eco-driving has been trialed as a cost-effective approach to reducing fuel consumption, but little research has examined its effects on safety. This research brings together disciplines of road safety, psychology and engineering to address the fundamental question: how can mobility be greener while being safer? It develops: ....CoopEcoSafe: a new cooperative, green and safe driving system. Road transport plays a vital role in our economy but generates huge costs in road trauma and greenhouse gases. Eco-driving has been trialed as a cost-effective approach to reducing fuel consumption, but little research has examined its effects on safety. Development of Tool Interfaces and Data Standards for Enabling Remote Secondary Analysis of Qualitative Data. This proposal will promote sharing and rapid secondary analysis of natural language and other qualitative data by providing interface standards between qualitative analysis systems, and will enhance the integration of analytic methods through improved archiving. Improving the provision and effective use of expert evidence will benefit the Australian community by providing a better quality criminal justice system.
Using self-report data to predict crash risk: how accurate is it and how can it best be used? The aim of this project is to develop better methods to collect self-reported data about motorists' driving behaviour in order to understand the factors associated with road crashes. The results will not only assist to identify 'at risk' drivers but also inform interventions designed to reduce crashes on Australian roads.
