Modern Australia faces many challenges in economic and global climate changes, which require advanced statistical technologies in modeling and forecasting of econometric spatial time series data. This project will provide flexible models and methods that enable practitioners to more accurately measure and manage economic and climatic risks.

This project aims to investigate the untold history of Anglo-German cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region through hitherto neglected German archival materials. These materials point to thriving and thick webs of mutual assistance in cultural, scientific, economic, military and political affairs that successfully weakened local sovereignty but ended abruptly with World War One. Coverage with Evidence Development: Application to pharmaceutical reimbursement decisions. Some new medicines produce only a small improvement in health but have considerable costs. When these medicines are trialled on only small numbers of people, uncertainty results about the value of the medicine, which can create problems for decision makers. German Mixed-Race Diasporas in the Southern Hemisphere: Science, Politics and Identity Transformation. This archival and oral history project advances knowledge of colonial and post-colonial identity formation in the global South. It shows how German scientific studies of race, especially among the mixed populations of the Pacific, shaped local identity politics and informed nationalist and decolonising projects. It offers a new context for understanding the nature of Australian race relations, ....German Mixed-Race Diasporas in the Southern Hemisphere: Science, Politics and Identity Transformation. This archival and oral history project advances knowledge of colonial and post-colonial identity formation in the global South. It shows how German scientific studies of race, especially among the mixed populations of the Pacific, shaped local identity politics and informed nationalist and decolonising projects. It offers a new context for understanding the nature of Australian race relations, especially our attitudes toward race mixing and assimilation in regard to our region. This project aims to develop new insights into Australia’s past by telling the story of Aboriginal people’s long-term connections and changing relationships with prominent places. Building on new discoveries in the northwest arid zone, the project will conduct archaeological research at landforms in the eastern Pilbara. This project aims to develop unprecedented reconstructions of Neanderthal evolution, cultural and extinction histories at previously undatable or understudied European archaeology sites using a versatile luminescence dating toolkit. It will integrate multiple dating methods, palaeoclimate proxies and palaeoecological data to provide comprehensive knowledge of the timing, context and nature of Neanderthal evolution.
