Summary
In April 2020, the Justice and Legislative Review Cabinet Committee commissioned a data project to better understand Crime Victimisation. This project will focus upon the better identification of disability within the prison and remand cohorts - including, an analysis of the link between crime victimisation and rates of disability within cohorts.
In April 2020, the Justice and Legislative Review Cabinet Committee approved a data project to support efforts to reduce domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, and suicide/suicide ideation by focussing on males experiencing divorce and separation; generational post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and military service induced post-traumatic stress disorder. The Flood Hazard Mapping and Assessment Project is being undertaken by the Attorney General's Department. The project has appointed multiple consultancies to update and prepare new flood studies across the State for the purpose of preparing flood hazard mapping to update the spatial layers of the Planning and Design Code. The flood study data and maps will also be utilized by government agencies and councils for hazard planning, management and infrastructure.
Development of a proof of concept (POC) simulation model that will enable testing scenarios and potential management initiatives in the health system and will produce reliable estimates of their effectiveness.
