I am a scientist with a background in molecular and cellular pathology. My research relates to studies of animals models of diabetic kidney and heart disease focusing on the discovery of novel treatments.
Prof Rosenthal proposes to use the Australia Fellowship to create a systems approach to regenerative medicine by bringing today’s breakthroughs in genomics, proteomics, engineering and animal modelling to a critical unanswered biological question: how can we enhance our regenerative capacity in ageing and disease.
