Governance for Gender Inclusion: Levelling the Field in Australian Sport. In the context of well-documented threats to the mental health and well-being of minority young people, this project will examine the experiences of two different generations of gender and sexual minority youth growing up in Australia, and the sources of support they have found most useful. Using responses to weather disasters and the financial products created to cover them, the project will explore cultural understandings of protection and damage through a Latin American case that foregrounds experimental and emerging adaptation. This project will use oral history to record the past and present experiences of lesbian and gay Australians, making this material accessible through the National Library of Australia, an online exhibition and a television documentary series.
