This project will investigate how and why financial markets are failing, what are the real effects of these failings, and what should be done about them. The project will develop policy solutions to mitigate the failings, thereby enhancing Australia’s economic prosperity, benefitting retirement savings, and improving regulatory efficiency.

However, they are operating in an environment of increased ‘top-down’ control and regulation. Does greater accountability to government weaken NP’s ‘cultural’ accountability to communities? This project explores the qualities that make NPs unique.
