Investigating the dynamics of migration and health in Australia: a longitudinal study. This project will investigate the dynamics of changes in health and the factors that moderate or otherwise influence those changes over time among immigrants relative to non-immigrants in Australia. This understanding will contribute to several areas of policy formulation, in turn allowing the question 'how can we best intervene' to be answered.
Belonging begins at home: promoting social inclusion and wellbeing for asylum seekers and people from refugee backgrounds. This project will explore housing settlement experiences of refugees and asylum seekers entering Australia. This information will advance understanding of how these experiences affect social inclusion and health and wellbeing, and will provide information to policy makers, practitioners, and communities about how to best support humanitarian migrants.

By 2031, the number of older Australians requiring residential aged care will increase 63 per cent, to 1.4 million. This in-depth semi-longitudinal project will explore daily life in aged care through photography, enhancing the experience for current and future residents.
How Australians navigate the healthcare maze: the differential capacity to choose. This project answers the question: how do Australians make choices as they navigate the healthcare maze? An examination of policy, media and marketing materials, and interviews with health professionals and consumers across three Australian states will reveal the most important factors in the capacity to exercise healthcare choice in Australia.
