The project aims to inform business process management (BPM) with the latest insights from the field of management accounting in order to make BPM systems cost-aware. Summary
Designing process models to support communication and decision-making. This project will develop guidelines to assist analysts in describing business processes by identifying theoretical factors of process model quality. The outcomes will make it easier to make informed decisions about process re-design, business innovation or software development, thus contributing to project cost savings and better processes.
Virtual transport networks. This project will develop specialised time-dependent networks for use in algorithmic software testing and development, focussing on public transportation networks, but applicable elsewhere. The virtual transport networks developed in this project will significantly reduce the cost of producing software products that perform network searches.
