This has generated security concerns that have proved a major obstacle to the growth of e-commerce, presently a relatively poor 2% of market share. The study aims to widen the scope of ground-breaking work already undertaken, and published, by the Chief Investigators: to test and empirically substantiate hypotheses and conclusions deriving from that work; and to provide grounds by which service organisations may better understand and cater for the different needs and requirements of markets served by technologically facilitated services.
Ensuring audit quality through regulation: modelling how regulation can change audit partner behaviour. This project will develop a model of how characteristics of regulation can change audit partner behaviour. Guidelines to incorporate the model into regulators’ decision-making will be developed. These guidelines will provide regulators with a unique tool to ensure Australian audit regulation achieves its intended aim of improving audit quality.
An intelligent integrated energy communication system. This multidisciplinary research project is an essential step towards transforming Australia's electricity infrastructure to become more intelligent. The real time monitoring of the power quality and energy usage will add value to the grid's operation, reducing planning and maintenance costs.
