Dr Dodd a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist designing and evaluating clinical and health-based interventions in common adverse pregnancy conditions and their impact on maternal, infant and childhood health outcomes. Her major focus involves dietary and lifestyle interventions for women who are overweight and obese during pregnancy, to improve maternal, infant and childhood health.
I am an epidemiologist working in the areas of public health and prevention, with a focus on HIV infection, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections.
My primary research interest is in the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions. A second research interest is in the mechanical and architectural properties of human muscles and tendons.
I am a sexual health and public health physician developing large population-based trials aimed at minimising the impact of sexually transmissible infections on the Australian population.
