The proposed project will extend this collaboration to develop a system for remote control of mDFP experiments, incorporating real-time data analysis and 3D visualization. This system will enable Australian scientists to use the Canadian mDFP, and subsequently the Australian Synchrotron mDFP, from their home institutions. The resulting flexibility of scheduling and alleviation of downtime for travel will be particularly beneficial for industry users.
