I am a mental health researcher who focuses on the evaluation of webbased and other educational and self-help interventions for the common mental disorders, and on consumer informatics and consumer perspectives in mental health.
As a researcher in evidence-based medicine Prof Glasziou is principally concerned with developing a greater understanding among clinicians and researchers of the causes of, and solutions to, gaps between research evidence and the application of this research to practice. My aim is to use advanced Neuroimaging to further our understanding of the pathophysiology of brain disorders, in particular Epilepsy, but also Sleep disorders, Schizophrenia, the Dementias. In the case of my main research interest (Epilepsy) it is to red
