This Project will expand our understanding of Aboriginal settlement and land-use in north-west Australia by investigating how the mythological narratives of Australia’s deserts enable the transmission of knowledge in water-limited environments. National Indigenous Research and Knowledges Network. The National Indigenous Research and Knowledges Network will capacity build and increase Indigenous higher degree, early and mid career researchers to develop new approaches to undertaking research and producing outcomes. NIRAKN's members include a number of universities, AIATSIS, and partner organisations.
Utilising Simulation to develop culturally responsive social workers. This project aims to increase cultural responsive practitioners by co-designing a culturally informed simulation centred curriculum program for social work students and field educators focusing on rural and remote experiential learning, a first in Australia. Significance may include increased effective cross-cultural practice; reduced costs of Field Practicum across Australia and increased graduates preparedness.
