Determinants of successful community transition for individuals with acquired brain injury and their families. Transition home following acquired brain injury (ABI) is a critical phase in which individuals and families are vulnerable. Unsuccessful transitions are characterised by events such as financial crisis, family breakdown, loss of work, social isolation, and institutionalisation. Design and Development of a Low-Cost Portable Biofeedback Device for use in Sleep Induction and Relaxation. This project aims to expand on existing knowledge of the various stimuli used in sleep induction such as photic, auditory and weak electromagnetic stimulation and develop a low-cost portable biofeedback prototype. Implementing and evaluating the Life Needs Model for young people with cerebral palsy. This study will provide evidence of a quantitative and qualitative nature about the access and engagement of people with cerebral palsy utilising a life needs model approach. The benefits are expected to be a decrease in dependency and a move towards greater interdependency, social inclusion, productivity and sustainability for people with cerebral palsy.
