This project aims to investigate why children and young people in Out-Of-Home-Care in Australia are absent from school far more than their peers. This project aims to produce the first longitudinal and comparative study of which aspects of gender equity and women’s empowerment interventions prove most durable for addressing gender inequality in Indonesia, despite external shocks such as the pandemic.
