The research will investigate the factors contributing to the relatively high proportion of SA students who undertake their senior secondary studies part-time, and explore the implications for the students and their communities in terms of educational and employment outcomes. As yet there is little rigorous evidence attesting to the efficacy of which learning environments are the most appropriate for 21st century learning in a digital and knowledge age. This project will evaluate technology-enhanced learning environments, which will determine how effective they are in the senior secondary and higher education sectors.
Parents' networks: the circulation of knowledge about children's literacy learning. Families' differential access to literacy knowledge and resources is a factor in children's unequal literacy outcomes. Networks are a means by which knowledge and resources are accessed. A cross-disciplinary investigation of creative arts as intervention activity for young people at risk in urban and rural Victoria.
