    Summary
    Development of a biosensor/bioassay for measuring nutrient pollution. Input of nutrients to water bodies is associated with a deterioration of ecological health. Uncertainty remains about the effect of nutrients on the Great Barrier Reef as monitoring in remote locations remains difficult, expensive and rather sporadic.
